When Dundee United Football Club looked to revitalise their 12-bedroom Academy residence, they turned to Spaces Taylored to create a space that was more than functional — one that fostered ambition, comfort, and identity for future stars in the making.

This wasn’t just a residential fit-out. It was about building a home that lives and breathes football, tailored to the unique needs of young athletes living away from home.

Before: A Space with Potential, But Lacking Purpose

The existing building was full of character, but tired and disjointed. Common issues included:

Arguably the emotional and social heart of the accommodation, the Games Room has been transformed into a visually iconic, club-pride-filled space.

A custom-painted feature mural depicting Tannadice Park in silhouette — featuring the Jerry Kerr and Eddie Thompson stands.

Stylish high-top seating, exposed brickwork, pendant lighting and wall-mounted footballs all reinforce this room as a place to bond and decompress.
