The Challenge
Dundee United Football Club approached Spaces Taylored with a vision to revitalise an underused hospitality suite at Tannadice Park. The goal? Create a standout, branded experience that would delight fans and elevate the club’s commercial hospitality offering. The existing space was dated, sparse, and lacked the amenities expected in a modern hospitality environment.
The Vision
The concept for the Carling Fan Cave was born from a desire to merge live matchday excitement with premium comfort — a private suite that felt like a high-end sports bar, nestled within the stadium itself. The space needed to balance functionality with atmosphere: great views of the pitch, integrated tech for immersive viewing, a dedicated bar area, and brand integration with Carling as the sponsor.
Before: A Blank Canvas
The suite originally featured:
Basic tiered seating facing the pitch with grey carpeting and whitewashed walls.
No bar infrastructure, lighting features, or focal branding elements.
Limited aesthetic identity, offering a neutral and underwhelming experience for fans.
