The Goal
As part of Dundee United Football Club’s broader stadium and hospitality improvements, Spaces Taylored was appointed to reimagine one of the most crucial areas in the stadium — the home team changing rooms. These rooms needed to be more than functional: they had to inspire players, reflect the club’s identity, and be built to elite-level professional standards.
Before: Worn, Weary, and in Need of a Boost
The original facilities, while structurally sound, showed clear signs of wear:
Damaged treatment tables, basic lighting, and unbranded, flat walls.
Lockers and changing benches with scuffed paint and tired finishes.
A lack of branding, visual identity, or modern touches expected in a top-tier club environment.
The space didn’t reflect the professionalism or pride of the team that called it home.

Full bank of custom-built lockers with geometric orange vinyl panelling for bold visual impact and a cohesive club identity.
Integrated LED task lighting above each station adds both practicality and theatre.
Premium black bench seating with under-unit storage offers space efficiency and modern finish.
⚡️Electrical & Lighting Upgrade
A complete electrical rewire and lighting enhancement was conducted for both ambient and feature illumination.
The new lighting plan supports player prep and enhances visual contrast for the club’s signature orange and black palette.
💺 Details That Matter
Branded hangers, black powder-coated hanging rails, and durable materials for high-traffic, high-performance use.
Refurbished physio and treatment areas, with new medical couches in sleek orange and black — complementing the rest of the scheme.
🛠 Rapid, Respectful Install
The works were completed to a tight timeline and around club schedules to avoid disrupting training and match prep.
